I asked this on the walmart thread, but no one responded..
After you leave walmart in manchester can you get back on I24 and enter the I24 entrance to bonnaroo, or do they reroute the walmart crowd to the east entrance?
I would like to experience the walmart pre bonnaroo party this year, but every year I have been and entered the camping grounds on the I24 entrance, we have always landed a primo camping spot.

I left Walmart last year around 5 or 6 I would say, went right on the onramp to I24 and I believe we were one of the last few cars let onto that on ramp, as the line on the highway went way past the ramp. Was only in line for about 2 or 3 hours but I think we were eventually rerouted to the east entrance. It was our first year and the cops were just sending random cars all over the place it seemed. It really is luck of the draw.

They will start rerouting people from Wal-mart late late Wednesday night. Instead of taking a left out of the Wally Word parking lot and getting on I-24, you will take a right, drive about a mile or so and they will route you down Asbury Road then onto Clifton (I think?) then Cornelison and finally Bushy Branch. This will take you to the East Entrance(? correct me if I'm wrong there). Hitting this route up before they start funneling people down it will help with location and wait time. However, wait too late and you WILL be waiting for 10+ hours in line and you have a strong chance of being in Super BFE. Before the cops start telling people where to go, its up to you.
Last year I took Bushy Branch from Walmart and we basically cut the line. After about 35 minutes of letting people do that, the cops started making the cars coming from that way turn around and go onto I-24, sucks to be them. I did however get stuck in BFE. This was also Wednesday and it was before sun down.

That was my experience two years ago....once in the gate, they put us about as far away as possible, but it turned out to be a nice camp....it was very, very easy to get out on Sunday....short little drive and we were off site.
Best I've heard is it's a crap shoot....they can change their order any time.
