Wow... pretty solid lineup for a first year fest. I already bought tickets to Catalpa but already consider selling those and buying tickets to this depending on how the rest of the Catalpa lineup shapes up.
Headliners- The Killers, The Black Keys, Jack White
Others include John Legend, Death Cab, Passion Pit, Flaming Lips, Cold War Kids, Cake, Lupe Fiasco.......
Damn, I might consider going to this festival next year just to give me a solid excuse to visit Deleware other than just hitting up the Dogfish head brewery.
Wow! Looks AMAZINGGGG!! And a wayyyy better option than Vibes for that weekend. 5 hours away is totally doable too... hmm. Anyone else considering this??
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

It would take some figuring but I can be convinced since it's a camping fest.
Wow, this is pretty incredible for a first-year festival lineup. Definitely thinking about trying to hit this up. If I am unable to score tix for JW at The Orange Peel between now and the date of the show, I will almost definitely try to make it to this. Would love to see The Killers as well, plus Passion Pit and some of those other undercard names. $178 isn't bad for this.
I kinda wish this was the Forecastle lineup, with MMJ in there in place of Death Cab. Would've got me there in a heartbeat, and the tickets aren't TOO much more expensive than Forecastle's.

as a DE local, I can't believe this is coming to our humble little state. It is going to be too awesome! (Not to mention that waking up and driving ten minutes everyday from an AC'ed home will be infinitely more comfortable than sleeping in a hot tent!)

I hear your coughing, Katy... I need to review their site and do some thinking, but I am pretty sure that I am down for this. And GL, if we go, you will NEED to!!

Wow. Originally, in the case that I get an internship in DC this summer and can't make Bonnaroo, I was going to use Governor's Ball as my consolation prize, but this just changed my mind. I'll let you guys know, but if I'm in DC, I'm in.
camping is $145, extra, but allows up to 4 people. In total, with camping, assuming you have a full capsite, this fest will cost $214 per person. That's friggin great.
Look, none of you guys can possibly be as excited as I am for this. I live in Dover. I have dreamed of good music coming to DE for years. Not only is it coming to Delaware, it's coming to Dover. We don't get a single good gotdamn thing in Dover like this. The best concert I think we've had in Dover in my entire life was probably The Beach Boys at Dover Downs, just to give some context here. Our entertainment consists of five bars, a sh**ty movie theater and a bowling alley. I filled out an application to volunteer the second I heard about it. I honestly thought it was an April Fool's joke when I saw it. I can sleep at my house, wake up, and practically walk there. I can probably hear it while sitting in my hot tub sippin on that whiskey. So yeah. Suck on that. The Black Keys will almost literally be in my backyard. #winning
I can't believe they're putting this on that weekend, when it's smack dab in the middle of Philly and Baltimore, both of which have music festivals that same weekend. I hope it does well, cause I'd like to attend this at some point. It's not happening this year. Hoping XPoNential gets some of these names for their lineup.
what festivals are happening in Philly and Baltimore that weekend?
Also, they really seem to be flooding the north east market with festivals that overlap this summer... EDC NY, Bamboozle, and Great Googa Mooga are all the same weekend.
Governors Ball and Orion are the same weekend.
And now both Catalpa and Firefly have Black Keys as headliners and they are only one week apart

Now imagine if you could have exactly what you just described, but take away firefly and put in bonnaroo. So yeah. Suck on that, radiohead, rhcp, and phish will be in my back yard. #winning ;D

I believe this festival is the only one you listed that offers camping. This is what makes the choice for me, at least.

Philly has the XPoNential Music Fest which isn't that big, but it just got bigger with the addition of the Wilco/Avetts/Dr. Dog show. Baltimore has Artscape, which is freaking huge and free. Plus there's Gathering of the Vibes that weekend too. I just wonder how much that might affect this being in it's infancy.
Booked my hotel. For Roo, I have to stay on-site no matter what the conditions; for this, I will stay while the music is playing and gladly go back to my room with A/C, a refrigerator, and my 2 person jacuzzi tub.
