hahaha! F Coachella. At the Drive In is playing a small club show in Austin this monday! This is gonna be just like back in '99 when they played at Emos all the time. Schweeeeeeet!

I've got tickets to the show tonight at red 7 and am at least as excited for this show as I get for Roo every year. I was just hoping to see them on the ACL lineup, but getting to see them in their first show back in a small club enviornment is unbelievable.

Interesting....three songs from Vaya, but nothing from Acrobatic Tenement. I was also pretty convinced they would throw Jim Ward a bone and let him do Hourglass. Or at least Star Slight. Good setlist, though.
These warm up shows are giving me hope for a full tour.

I'm not going to lie. That show was pretty badass. They brought the noise. The energy was the highest of any show I've been to in awhile. Omar was a little quiet and at times almost seemed uninterested but that is to be expected with the recent passing of his mother. So glad I got to go to this show. Great energy. Musically great. This is a must see show at coachella IMHO.
