So Phil Lesh bought a restaurant and club in San Rafael, CA (about 4 miles from my home). Last week he announced that "the Q" is going to play a series of 4 shows later this month there. Lesh, Warren Haynes, Jimmy Herring, John Molo, and Rob Barraco. There was an online submission to get tickets and I scored 2 for Friday, 4/27. Hopefully, this is not just a one off and they play some more.
Awesome. I want to try to make it to a show there sometime soon. Preferably an & Friends show for me. They sound like they are really trying to create the Ramble experience which is really great. There is nothing in the world quite like a Ramble.
