My parents drove past Manchester last week and texted me a picture of the Manchester exit. I wish I had asked them to drive over and see how close they could get, take some pics, etc.

Wow, I feel so dumb now. Last year I saw pictures of the arch and thought it was really lame... Looking back, it's probably my favorite one when it's all lit up and rainbow like.
Pretty sure I reported this in a different thread, but back in late March I drove by the farm southbound on the interstate, and at the temporary exit they had an excavator, a big pile of gravel, and some sections of concrete culvert. Should be interesting to see what they did over there.
Crazy how different it looks without any walls, booths, or tents nearby. Is that taken from the What Field looking back towards the arch?
Imagine how surreal it would be to actually be there with everything taken down and all the permanent structures just sitting around in seemingly random spots.

Also, sorry for the double post, but what kind of differences or improvements do you guys think we can expect on the farm this year? More amenities? More GRASS? Screens in tents? My mouth is watering at the thought.
I drove by the site this Christmas. I was hoping to snap some nice pics with snow on the ground, but a) there was no snow and b) the fence is far enough away that I could see, but my camera could not. They leave up the arch, the bare bones of the What and Which and there is a cell tower and the windmill. If I recall, there's a barn and a couple of other structure. What hit me is just how MASSIVE the site is. As we were driving through it I was going, "Holy crap, we WALKED this TWICE A DAY?!"
What do you think they'll do with the arch this year?
They should have bins full of non-toxic multicolored paint-filled balloons in the line leading to the arch. Then have the patrons each grab 2 a piece and throw them at the arch :0! And then another few bins after you get scanned into center-roo so you can throw one or 2 on the "back" side of the arch. (This would likely work best if the arch was painted a nice matt-black and/or white to begin with)
