Roo isn't completely dry. If you are lucky enough to be in RLARS, you can have all the booze you want. I think they play by different rules back there because they are just serving the alcohol to the guests. It must be only unlawful to sell it.
I think the solution is clear then... Bonnaroo should just GIVE US FREE LIQUOR!!!

Yeah, I believe there would be some challenges with liquor licensing, especially in Coffee County/Manchester. I am not really sure, though. Does anyone know if they served liquor when they had the Stubhub Sports bar? I would assume not, but I never got a chance to go in there.
There is only 1 county in all of Tenn. that isnt dry I believe.
This is simply not true.
Some old veteran thats been around Roo since day 1 told me a bunch of stories. I may have exaggerated I really dont remember. I think it may have been only the cities can sell booze or something.
I am positive that the no alcohol rule has to do with state law, so don't get your hopes up.

Not true at all. I live in Tennessee. All TN counties and cities are dry by default, but local governments can opt into being "moist" or "wet" if they choose. There are 95 counties in TN, 25 of which are completely dry, 9 of which are wet, and the remainder of which are moist, to varying degrees. Note that this refers only to liquor and wine sales. Coffee County, for example, is moist. It allows for the sale of liquor and wine, both in bottle form and by the drink, in some places. There is no law against selling it by the drink at Bonnaroo.

you can buy hard alcohol in stores in manchester. last year my group was supposed to be runnign a Frozen beverage bar but they were unable to secure the necessary permits. it is my understanding that that may also be the case here as a group called Spectrum runs the alcoholic beverage deal.
I'll get on the arm tomorrow afternoon. Will post pics on my Facebook if weather cooperates. I plan on walking around Centeroo in the evening around 8pm
