I can't remember if it was a NIN forum or maybe a Mars Volta forum, but the forum had a rule that read something to the effect of "DO NOT post links in this forum to your bandcamp, facebook, myspace page about your sh**y music. NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR S**TY BAND!" So the subject line is an inside joke that only I will probably be amused by.
We released a self titled album in march "Life at Sea". We play rock music and I'll leave it at that as far as a description.
The album is free to download in HQ MP3 or FLAC, you can also get in on vinyl at our shows or through our webpage. The first 500 are pressed on white vinyl and it's real purtty.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Hey, this is pretty cool. I've seen your band name around town on flyers and show listings, but I hadn't heard your music before. I'll try to catch a show sometime. I'd be at that show on Saturday if I wasn't swamped this weekend, Places is one of my favorite local bands.

Wow, cool! Thanks for taking a moment to listen! @problem Dog yep Places is pretty kick ass, I'm excited to see them myself. If you ever make it to one of our shows please do say hi! We're playing the Drunkin Unicorn on 6/9 however I may not be at that show for obvious reasons, the drummer for New Terminus (a very LOUD and kick ass instrumental local band totally worth checking out) might be sitting in for me.
Are you sure Capillaries isn't the loud instrumental band? Because I do believe New Terminus is more power pop, unless they decided to make some changes.
