The fact that the Rolling Stones camp never refuted the rumors is a pretty telling sign. The last couple of times there was Coachella chatter they shot it down right away. I don't think the polo ball posting means much.
Not privy to the innermost lineup discussions, but based on the most credible rumors and the acts booked for the cruise, it looks like the top lines of the festival could look something like:
Red Hot Chili Peppers deadmau5 * QOTSA * [Sahara] * Hot Chip * Stone Roses
The Rolling Stones Atoms for Peace * Sigur Ros * [Sahara] * Grizzly Bear * Passion Pit
A couple of the big acts will not be there come lineup release (Coldplay last year), and Sahara is the hardest to track down because those guys don’t “tour” so much as they play a lot of big one offs. But so far, doesn’t look so bad. Excited for April, but more excited for the next week or so…

I really have no idea all i know it was around this time last year
Last year it happened on the second tuesday of the month - believe it was the 9th. In the years prior, it was on the third tuesday, if I recall. Last year, the lineup drop was preceded by teaser videos on Coachella.com. Just because they did things one way last year doesn't mean they'll do them this year, so the absence of videos doesn't necessarily mean no lineup drop this Tuesday, but I'd be more willing to bet on the following week (the 15th).

The last couple years they started posting videos leading up to the announcement. Nothing like that as of yet. (of course, that doesn't mean they'll do it this year)
Also, the site hasn't updated yet.
I'm guessing the week after next. (14th - 16thish)

Phi is right and tix went on sale. 1/13 which was a Friday
Did you not see the post from this morning where another rolling stone writer shot down the confirmation? And then this separate writer hints at confirmation 4 hours later.

Well....
The Rolling Stones have been a heavy favorite for Coachella 2013, especially after the Indio, CA festival was briefly listed in the Tour section of the band’s mobile app.
However, in a new interview with RollingStone.com which took place in late December, Mick Jagger claimed that the band has yet to be approached by Coachella organizers. He also swore no knowledge of why the Coachella listing appeared on their mobile app. Jagger added, “I always said that we’d see how this would go,” referring to the band’s recent string of 50th anniversary concerts, “then we’d think about doing more – or not.”
Discussing their 2013 tour plans in general, Jagger said, “There have been quite a few offers. I’m going to see what’s on the table and discuss it with everyone. We’ll announce it when we’ve figured it out.”
Coachella 2013 takes place over two weekends from April 12th-14th and April 19th-21st at Indio’s Empire Polo Grounds. Several acts have already self-confirmed appearances at the festival, including Rodriguez, Father John Misty, Paul Kalkbrenner, Kill the Noise, Hardwell, Bingo Players, Dirty Bird Plays Club.
Other likely acts (based on tour schedules) include Sigur Rós, Passion Pit, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Beach House, Tegan and Sara, Stars, and Local Natives. Stay tuned to Festival Outlook for additional updates.

Hate to just post for a summary and not read....but I will. Any news here? I've been overseas for a month with just my phone to surf the Internet. I'll be back late Tuesday night, but I'm curious if there's any substantial rumors here. I've read the CoS page, but I'm always (well beyond) hesitant to blindly trust them. Anything worth reporting here?
