Didn't see the final lineup poster in the thread, so I thought I'd throw it up. Not the best they've put together, but I think it's solid overall. There are a bunch of names toward the bottom I'm looking forward to seeing like Com Truise, Savoy, Minnesota, Maya Janes Coles, and Thundercat.
Knife Party could be the highlight of the weekend.

After shows are up... nothing really grabs my interest here. Probably going to do GT, since my brother has never seen him and we are going to be hanging at Umphrey's on Saturday. Then maybe the Umph after show...

I'm pretty sure they did last year. I remember drinks were based off a ticket system. So stand in line, buy a ticket, then stand in another line and buy drinks so I would imagine the food system works the same. Not sure the deal for volunteers though.
What a great idea! This is from North Coast's Facebook feed.
Don't forget to help clean up North Coast today. Come to information booth to pick up your plastic bag!
This is what you have to do:
1. Pick up a zip-loc bag at the information booth.
2. Fill it up with cigarette butts and water bottle caps that are littered across the festival grounds.
3. Return the bag to the information booth and tell the lovely individuals working at the information booth your first and last name, and email address.
For each fill zip-loc bag you turn in, you will receive a single day pass to next years NCMF!
It was the only festival he didn't play last year. Now the circle is complete.
So very true!
Looks like I'm heading back to Chicago for this fest. Every year I go and bitch about how stupid the crowd is and say I will never go back, then the headliners just suck me right back in the next year.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

I've been to all three North Coast Festivals, and I haven't had a bad time at any of them. It's the same park where they hold Pitchfork, and they set up the stages the same way. The crowd tends to be younger, but I've never had any issues with anyone at the festival, the same goes with security.

Does anyone have experience with VIP for this fest? It seems like a pretty good deal to me but I've never been. My main concern is that the VIP viewing areas would suffer from sound bleed being between the two stages. Or do they alternate the music on these two stages so it's a nonissue?
