Leaving from Easton PA...can leave any time between Saturday 6/1 and Tuesday 6/4 (we have friends near Bonnaroo - good people - who we were hoping to visit for a couple days). But the need to split gas & toll costs supercedes the need to visit...Me and ma best festie girl Rachel...looking for two more. Nice ride...2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4-door...good sound system...and 420 friendly... : ) Lemme know!

Yes...that absolutely was me! And all due respect...I do not see how you are trying to turn it into some kind of scandalous conspiracy...I put an offer out. I was pretty clear and concise. And anyone who wanted in could have brought a cot or an inflatable mattress. No one had to sleep on the ground. It's not like I put it out there...and then once we were all gathered, I said "Ooooooooooooh...BTW...I failed to mention you'll be sleeping on the ground...yeah...sorry..." People read the ad, and YES...they had the capacity to make the decision whether they were in or out on that deal. The selling point for these Tent City tents wasn't the comfort of the sleep arrangements...it was the close proximity to Centeroo. And the people who joined us were more than happy to split the costs evenly. To be honest...they slept better on THEIR gear...than the rest of us who were on cots...because the Tent City cots were GARBAGE. 3 out of the 4 cots broke BEYOND usefullness. So...thanks for chiming in and spreading the love, brother...Sounds like you really got a handle on the Bonnaroo sense of community...

I didn't say it was scandalous, I said it was you. If people are going to throw that kind of offer out there it might get brought up later ya know.

Well...It IS possible that I have misjudged the posting...because I am most definately the first cat to say, " I was wrong" on something. But you can't argue the fact that the way your post reads? It looks like you're putting me in a DOUCHEBAG light. "Isn't HE THE GUY who asked for people to evenly split the cost of a Tent City tent, but asks you to sleep on the ground while he sleeps in a cot?" is basically what you posted...kinda making it look like an ass. Then posting the original thread from 2010, which I'm 100% fine with everything about that offer thread. YOU KNOW the vibe of what you posted. It wasn't a POSITIVE thing. It was in the spirit to make me look like a snake...and deter a potential ride connection.
You know, this year I invested over $4000+ (probably closer to $5,000) in tickets and accomodations, between Roo, Gathering Of The Vibes, FireFly Festival & Hangout to make sure all of my festival friends can make it to the party? Even though they didn't have the funds right off the bat to get tickets on their own? That I put TREMENDOUS amounts of time, money and effort into organizing festival missions in order to make sure everyone in my crew is UBER-hooked up? That the dozen or so people who have connected with me on this very rideshare board over the past 6 years are now LIFE-LONG FRIENDS who have partied with me at MULTIPLE FESTIVALS since meeting?

Oh do not get me wrong I thought you were a summers breeze for posting that offer, and when I see you offering to take more people to a fest I think it is fair to bring it up. However I did not say anything like that I just brought it back up is all.....
If you think your own words make you a summers breeze in a sac , and that is all I posted with no judgement then maybe you should evaluate your words.

Haaaaaaaaaa!! Well...I don't buy the tickets FOR THEM...I just pick em up...get em for as cheaply as possible...so everyone benefits on those earlier price rates. Because I know money is tight for alot of these people...and I oftem times don't get paid for them until right up to festival time...meaning sometimes my money is out there on the hook for months at a time. I'm not by any means rich...but if I have it in the savings...sure...I'm cool with it. And believe me...I HAVE been screwed on tickets before...but my spirit...I just can't help it. I love the scene...love my festival friends. And I would like to think...they would tell you...partying with me the whole weekend...is one of the best perks of all...Not that I think I'm all that. I'm the first cat to point out my flaws...but as far as festival partying? I know who I am. And I LIKE that cat!! You are more than welcome to be a part of my crew, new friend...any time...my contact info is all here...
