One day they will develop technology that will allow us to print a barcode or have it sent to our cell phone and have it scanned at the gate and be given a wristband. But this technology is probably hundreds of years in the future. The present method is without a doubt the best that 21st Century science will be able to do in our and our children's and grandchildren's lifetimes.

I printed my ticket the day before bonnaroo in 09 and it was barcoded. I still don't get how bonnaroo decided to make it worse.
so my boyfriend just called me and said he heard that people were getting the wrong number of wriestbands sent to them- the ones complaining are the ones that did not get all the tickets they ordered.....have yall hear anything about people not getting the number of tickets they ordered (as in not enough)?
Thank you for ordering wristbands for the 2012 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.

It shows four wristbands being sent......only one (1) came in....I ordered one (1), so in my case it is a print error and not a shipping error.

Got a great story for you guys. Right after I posted in here yesterday about how I hadn't even gotten an email yet, I had an idea. I bought my ticket last June and I realized I might have used my old account that's attached to my old email. I checked it and my wristband had been delivered to my house two hours previously. I got my wristband!!

* numbers changed to protect the innocent....
My email said the same and mine (1) came in today.. Don't worry about it!
A friend of mine tried to register her wristband today and it told her it had already been registered. She's emailed them about it and I don't think it will be a big issue. I was just wondering if this is happened to anyone else and if so how did they fix the issue?
I got four wristbands, they all have a number above the registration code which i am sure is the case with everyones wrist bands..... three of the tickets are in the 88 thousands and the other one is in the 30 thousands, i wonder if this number represents how many tickets are sold, as in, since i have wristbands in the 88 thousands that means they must have sold 88 thousand or more.
I could easily be wrong but i was wondering if anyones wristband number is above 90,000?
USPS has somehow LOST our wristbands. They attempted to deliver on the 26th, and we weren't home. So when I went to set up a redelivery/possibly pick them up at the Post Office, they said they couldn't find them. I'm calling Music Today in about an hour, but does anyone know what the chances of our situation getting fixed?? I'm so depressed
They can overnight UPS new wrist bands to you overnight at a small cost. Im sure this has happened to many people that are planning on attending the festival. Dont sweat it, it will work itself out!
Just call Music today and explain your situation......
Sooo, I heard that you might not have to register them? Like- I know it says that you have to this year, but I heard you really didn't have to.I'm still registering mine(which I still need to do ) but has anyone heard this?
Yep. The Atlanta, Georgia USPS on Moresgo Road by Lindbergh is staffed with the biggest group of idiots I think has ever been put under one roof. For the THIRD time, they said it's probably on the truck and if its not, she said and I quote "Welllll...it may have gotten put in the wrong box." She also said it could be "in the back and there's just so much mail back there, it'll be impossible to find". And people wonder why the USPS is failing and fading away?!?!

Im sorry to laugh at your mis-fortune but that is hilariously classy of her to say those things!

Yeah..and just imagine it being said with one of those real annoying, drawn out southern drawls that almost has to be fake. It's really just my luck. I mean, I know Music Today will help us out (i hope ) but it's just a testament to why the USPS is an outdated service.

I'm not going to register mine. Hopefully it doesn't come back to haunt me, but I doubt it.

USPS had mine lost for two days. I called them and they were not helpful. So I called the ticket people and got another one sent out. The next day my original one shows up. I was able to register it, and then today I get an email about one being overnighted UPS. I wonder if both will be good or if that first one will be canceled at some point.

good question, but I'm sure they will register the first one void.
i dont think the usps is a outdated service.. it amazes me that you put a peice of paper in a box outside your house, a guy comes and gets it and they personally bring it by plane and truck and foot right to the person you are sending its to's doorstep. Theyll even put it in his hand. and all they charge to do this is a 45 cent piece of paper. If you were going to get me to do that for you, i would charge you like 1000 dollars.

Since they cannot ship to certain people now (Example: Someone who is driving cross-country to Roo), If you buy a ticket now, you can print it out at home (for a fee I am sure)
