poptarts seemed to be completely essential last year. peanut butter and bananas also (sometimes all combined). nutella and mushroom sandwhiches are also the best (any type of mushroom works) and assorted nuts! nuts saved me last year. we usually plan on at least one meal a day from vendors too
If you have a grill, pancakes in the mornings are pretty awesome. Breakfast was really the only meal I ate at camp last year, too much is going on during the days, to go back to camp and fix food, when there are so many awesome selections in Centeroo.
We made these awesome things at my daughters girl scout camp a few weeks ago and I want to try them at Roo on our camp grill.
They are called banana boats. You slice the banana open on one side (leave the peel on) and stuff it with chocolate chips and mini marshmallows. You wrap it in foil and at the camp we put it in the fire for 5-10 min. Then you just eat with a spoon.
I'm sure the cooking time might be a bit different putting it on our camp grill but they should come out The same and they are AMAZING!!

Peanut Butter. Peanut Butter goes with everything. Peanut butter has a high level of monounsaturated fats and resveratrol, provides protein, vitamins B3 and E, magnesium, folate, dietary fiber, arginine, and high levels of the antioxidant p-coumaric acid.
Shelf-stable pre-cooked bacon, a loaf of whole-wheat bread, a head of lettuce, a couple of tomatoes, some spicy brown mustard, and a roll of aluminum foil.

Raw Almonds Frozen banana slices Apples Protein bars Las Paletas - amazingly delicious local pops (first time trying this, will keep them next to the dry ice)! Some sort of salty/sweet nut/fruit/granola mix Jerky Frozen thin mints V8 Pringles
I have a green smoothie I regularly make at home (bananas, pineapple, yogurt, spinach) In the next few days I'm going to attempt freezing into pops.
I have 2 great aunts who retired from Golden Flake on the cheese curl line. They started at Golden Flake hand spreading peanut butter on those crackers. As a kid they would bring home to my Great Grandma's boxes of bags of chips returned from stores due to shelf age.
My friends and I have a really great snack that we make for camping/festivals...ritz cracker, pepperoni slice, and cheez-wiz. Great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner too. You can serve it at your next social function as a white trash hors devours

we go all out, over board.
Firstly bring your vitamins: potassium, complex B, selenium, brain stuff ginko and daily multi, got to charge up, what was melted the day before on the farm. I am out there from 1pm-4am need all this shiz.
Wake Up: fruit, and then voka oj, and or bloodies. Then we do pork roll egg n cheese. Pancakes(the bisquick just add water ones are delicous) and thats with bacon of course. Lunch: Brauts, dogs, pretty much tube meat, burgers, pasta salad, and PB and J, and cold cuts. Dinner: everything above plus chicken quesodillas, steak sandwiches.
But Late night you got to find a JERRY ROLL !!!! The vendor is the coolest tweaked out man I ever met, and he makes it to order. he is very funny.
We usually feed our neighbors, its always good having a real chef as one of your camp mates, not that any of that stuff requires his skills.
I may have to try frozen banana slices. That sounds good - and my body would welcome the potassium.
Apparently you can blend them in a blender or food processor (you can add peanut butter/honey/etc) and it essentially turns into healthy ice cream. I tried that in my blender but something weird happened and I ended up with liquid banana.
This is for the people that like to go back to there site after the day and like to eat a good hearty meal to refuel for the evening festivities. This is my menu for the four days
Thur Lunch : Cold cuts ( only cause its easy)
Dinner : Burgers and Dogs
Friday Breakfast : Omelet Burritos with homemade zucchini salsa
Saturday Breakfast: French Toast with maple sausage
Dinner: Jamaican Jerk marinated chicken breast : Grilled zuchini and squash ; and pesto corn on the cob
Sunday Breakfast: Pancakes with bacon
Dinner: Italian sausage subs with peppers and onions
Some stuff I like to munch on while I am there is Little Debby nutty Bars and oatmeal pies ( so good after a long night in a different realm ) Granola bars alot of fruit
