I met a wonderful couple in 2010. It was early thursday and my friends and I volunteered that year so I was sitting on a blanket in the grass drinking beer by myself while all my friends were working a shif.t the couple told me they had met at bonnaroo 2009. She was from upstate new york and he was from alabama. they said they talked all the time after roo and every few months one of them would fly to see the other or they would have a mid meet up place. started as a great friendship and then they fell in love.
well anyway the girl got up to get all three of us a beer. when she was gone he told me he was going to propose to her during stevie wonder he also said he would move to new york in a heartbeat if that's what she wanted.
they were so happy to be together at bonnaroo again. I think bonnaroo is a great place to meet a potential partner. everyone is smelly and gross looking but at least you know they have a good taste in music!
sigh what a great couple. if either of you are out there and remember meeting me, message me! Would like to say Hi and thank you or that beer
The article says "his bandmate and brother Caleb think the marriage would take Nathan away from the band." which I find HILARIOUSSSSS after Caleb's little "I WANT MY WIFE AND A LOT OF GOD DAMN WHISKEY" episode last year which resulted in the cancellation of the rest of their US tour.

in 2006 a guy and girl met on the shuttle, camped at camp inforoo all weekend together, and then got married a year or so later.
i wish i remembered their names! i don't think they post here anymore. they were both really nice, i thought they were already a couple until they told me they met on the shuttle...
My gf and I got together at Roo 2005. She was invited to Roo with our group by my sister (they worked together, I hadn't met her before) and we've been together ever since. Didn't find out until afterwards that my sister was secretly trying to play matchmaker. (She's like an evil genius.)

Well now that i am officially single again, not that i'm looking, i would love nothing more than to meet a girl who shares my passion for music, people and a love of the finer things in life such as Bonnaroo I tried several times to get my ex to go and she didn't even want to think about it. (Too hot and nasty she said) I have said since my first trip to the farm that if Bonnaroo were a woman she would be my soul-mate but maybe my soul-mate goes to the Roo. Great to think about.
haha, I have had a couple 'Roo hook ups, one definitely lead to some kind of 'love'; we were so excited to see each other the following year!! He lives super far away, so nothing came of it but we'll alway have 'Roo 2010 in Pussy Galore... rofl.
Then I met my BF of eight months I'm moving in with in a couple of weeks there last year. It wasn't 'love at first sight', but I was totally attracted to his sense of humor and tried to place my self near to him whenever at camp. We FB messaged a few times, went out to a Mike D party, he asked me out, and we have been inseperable! Kind of. haha. He lives 90 miles away, but not for long
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Aww Taco you can tell your grand kids one day "I met your grandpa at bonnaroo" ha so sweet
ha! My... third? Cousin (like my grandmother's age) asked BF this past weekend what he thought of me going to Bonnaroo whahahaha. I got to tell her we met there.

On the flip side of this...
I "met up" with someone at Bonnaroo and it was nice while we were there but I found out later it was pretty much all an act. Some of you was witness to this. This person was/is an inforoo member and pretty much was liked by all. One of the reasons why I never loan money anymore.... Be careful.
I also remember a girl bringing a guy back to her tent to share some corn and when she woke up, her wallet was gone. Nothing against romance and good times but just remember, not everyone is honest at Bonnaroo.
