Wal-Mart is 2+ miles away from the farm just going on the highway, which you aren't allowed to walk on. But if you stock up on stuff beforehand you should be all good
Do not plan on going out for supplies once you are there. Make sure you are well stocked on supplies BEFORE you get in line. You will not want to walk all the way to Wal-Mart, and it is a very good possibility that once you are parked in your campspot, you wont be able to drive out until the fest is over....FWIW....
Yep, once you're on The Farm, you are pretty much stuck there until late Sunday afternoon or early Monday. The store in Centeroo has a surprisingly good selection of last minute "need-to-have" things if you get in a pinch.
Coleman was there last year... They will repair your Coleman camping products right on site.

Yeah you dont wanna walk to walmart. I did it in 06, and it was pretty brutal. Although on the way back, some guy that worked for superfly drove by us on a side road and picked us up. He drove us through all the back woods and letting us help him do wheelies on the golf cart. we actually got to meet the man who owned the farm at the time. The owner was pissed cause people cut his fence to get into roo, and cows got out onto the highway. We then drove into backstage and throughout the vip and band camping areas. Interesting walmart trip I have to say.
For instance, the Wal-Mart and other places around to stock up on stuff. Is it that long of a walk to go around to these places if the need arises?
To add to what everyone else has said, pretty much anything you might need will be within the grounds. The general stores do indeed have what you might need, but it will be pricey. Try to pack extras of as much as you can.
They sell ice on the grounds, too. If you are close to the end of the property, you can usually find people who own the adjoining land selling things cheaper, such as ice, showers, food, etc etc.

In 2006, we bought cold showers from the locals at two different places outside of the gates. One was $1 and the other $2. With the heat, a cold shower for a dollar or two was pretty nice. One of the women running the shower told us that she took a couple of people to Wal-Mart for $20. So, I guess if all else failed and you were in desperate need of supplies, then you could probably coax a local into taking you to Wally-World with a $20 or so.

I loved the feeling of stocking up for food at the 'Mart before roo... it just validated everything for me!
But I agree, bonnaroo is probably more fun if you come prepared... although they DID have a nice selection at the general store like ken said.. it is pretty pricey though..
