Funk yeah! I leave in like 5 days. We have group showing up on Wednesday. I can not wait!
I'm gonna try to get there on Wednesday to help y'all set up and to soak up as much of the beautiful nature there. What time will you be rolling in, Scrog?
Malcolm, not sure what to tell ya. If I can think if something I will text you. Ah, I know what you can bring, Your mutha f'ing party pants!!!!
Abra, so excited to see you! Glad to get you back to Sosmp. I should be there by noon time on Wednesday.
Right on! My plan is to leave around Wednesday at noon and it's about a 7 hour drive. I'm coming alone so if anyone needs a ride and you are on the way from Knoxville to Sosmp and you pack light, hit me up. What can I bring to add to the experience? I am getting together things for a trade blanket again. I also have some friends coming in on Friday night. I'd love for them to camp with us however one is a DJ and will bring his speakers to play after the shows stop. That might be annoying to people trying to sleep so just let me know, he's cool with it either way but didn't know late night party habits.
Dee as long as he does not play anything that Phi likes, then we should be good. But we do ask that no music be played from 6am-10am.
Also, Malcolm, I let Mo know, but this goes for all
Bring poster board and markers! Short Cut Camp is creating the Morning Star Trail and we will have stencils for butterflies and flowers and stars and want you to create your own, decorate it, and then hang it on designated areas of the trail.

Mayyybe I'll let them set up camp somewhere else He plays edm but glitchy funky stuff and I'm not sure if that would vibe with everyone there. He's super cool though and it will give more opportunity to camp hop if we desire.
Abba, if I was ever to camp somewhere else at Sosmp, then where we camp now, i would be over by the lake. That area is amazing! Waking up or falling asleep to lake view is priceless.

That is where they usually camp. To the left or on the other side of the fence from where the silent disco was at Bear Creek '12. My friend is from Florida and he loves Sosmp and agrees that the lake is beautiful!
PHB Facebook has been quiet for a while now. Last year they announced the lineup on 12/17. Hopefully we get something before xmas! This was my all around favorite festival this past year.

That would be nice. I love this little gem and it sits just behind BC as my favorite Music Fest. The energy of SOSMP in itself is unique and a special experience, PHB lives and evokes, what I call the magic of SOSMP.
Rachel Morningstar Hoffman would have turned 30 years old today. But thanks to people like you, her legacy lives on. Rachel's law, designed to protect confidential informants, became Florida law in 2009. The Rachel Morningstar Foundation, now a non-profit organization, plans to launch its website early next year. Among other projects, the Foundation is producing a video on Rachel's life, and they're planning a national essay competition. Thank you, Purple People, for helping us turn this family tragedy into a triumph for the community. Details on PHB 2015 coming soon! Stay tuned!
