This year, our group is traveling from multiple location (Mid-West, North-East & South).
We are planning on meeting up somewhere before we all get in line, but I'm unsure where a good meet up spot would be in manchester.
I was originally thinking of meeting at the Manchester Walmart, but I'm concerned it will be too hectic to meet there on wednesday evening as gates open.
Anyone have any advice on a good meet up spot? Would it be better for us to meet in another town?
I tried a Walmart meetup two years ago and it was a disaster. I did find everyone, but as soon as the herd started out, we were all separated. If you're planning on going straight to the line once you get into Manchester, you probably should try to meet up in a different town and make a very tight carravan.
I'm honestly not that familiar with TN, but in my opinion anywhere but Manchester would be ideal. Maybe some natives can help with a specific location.
I've done Walmart for the past three years and as long as your group members are alert and attentive and you stop if you lose someone, it works out. Just gotta work as a team and everyone else around understands. Mark your vehicles with something to let people know you're together.
