Here's everyone's friendly reminder!
The easiest thing you can do to insure your vehicle is ready for roo is:
- CHANGE YOUR OIL!
If you're taking your car to a reputable shop, they'll most likely do a fluid check too. If you're going to do it yourself, remember to check:
- Transmission Fluid - Brake Fluid - Power Steering Fluid - *And the most important COOLANT!*
If your low, go ahead and top it off (but don't over do it).
Let's talk about tires!
Make sure they are all inflated to the recommended PSI on the side of the tire. Again, while you're there, check your spare tire and make sure you have a jack and tire iron just in case one goes flat while you're in line. ( Don't worry if you don't know how to change a tire. There will almost certainly be someone near by who will assist you.)
Lastly, (And this just recently happened to me) check your Air Conditioning! Mine worked last year and the first crazy hot day we had this year I turned it on and nothing but hot air. You could have a bigger problem, however the quick $20 fix is to go grab a recharge kit from your auto parts store. Most of the time if your nice to the peeps behind the counter, they'll even go out to the parking lot and show you how to recharge it.

If you're me don't forget to put that fuel pump in this week. Also inflate your tires according to the psi listed inside the drivers door, that's your vehicles recommended psi. The number on the side of the tire is the tires max psi.

Haha. Fuel pump is a must!
HEY! I always forget it's on the inside of the door!
