I had back surgury in July of last year and I was wondering what the best sleeping arrangement would be for me to avoid stiffness! I currently have a camping sleeping pad but I didn't know if a cot or an air mattress may be better?
Also, does anyone have recommendations for shoes?
This is my first year attending Bonnaroo so I don't want it to be ruined by back pain! Thank you!
my friend got a scooter off of craigslist for about 200 bucks. its been a life saver for roo. get on the accessible list BEFORE roo. there are limited accessible passes and its hard to get one once you are there because they are running out of them
if i had back problems i would bring both. variety is key same with shoes. bring several types of shoes. if one hurts you give that a rest and wear a different type shoe. i have arch pain and this works well for me
A good air matress made a huge difference for my back pain and sleep quality at roo. Be sure that the air matress is a good one that does not leak down overnight. Be sure to test it out before roo. I have not tried a cot but I would assume that too would be better than the bag and pad combination which is what I originally used and left me fairly misarable.
