My girlfriend and I got toll booths this year! It's great, but things are looking to be a little different than the volunteering we've done in the past. So I've got several questions for anyone that's done Toll Booths before!
Where is the separate Toll Booth camping?
Do we still get free showers/that BBQ meal on Tuesday?
Since we get packaged meals during our toll booth shifts, I assume that means no meal tokens?
Tollbooth camping is at the west tollbooths in the northwest corner (http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/7010/roo11map.jpg - Camp Zoolander is where we were last year)
We still get free vouchers...we can go allll the way to the regular volunteer area for constant free showers, I believe, but last year they knew this was way too difficult for us to do so they just gave us 1 paper voucher per shift to turn into the shower at the nearby POD at POD 6 and we got showers there. The bbq meal, we had in our camping area separately from the rest of the volunteers, though I don't believe I received info on that (was that in 1 of the emails?). Tollbooths seem to have 2 different shifts this time. Most should be done by Friday 9pm at the latest and starting Wednesday, but it sounds like they're having later shifts too. Not sure how that's working, but you should be told if you were the 2 13 hour shifts that end Friday 9pm.
