the ferris wheel!!! which i have yet to go on. last year, i even had a ticket to go on it but never made it up !!!
In '06 my friends started to talk to two women in line for the comedy tent and they gave us money for all of us to ride the wheel the next day and it is definitely an awesome sight from the top.

And I remember that garage thing too. It was a Volkswagon thing and I still have the bandana I got for free from them. The really cool part about that place was that behind the area where you could jam they had all these amazing pictures hanging in a seperate room kinda.
But last year was the first time I really took the time to check out the activities aside from watching bands and going to the stand up tent. I really enjoyed the cinema tent last year except when my friends and i went in there, fell asleep and woke up realizing we had missed Ben Harper's entire set. We were bummed.

I fell in love with the fire displays during the '06 Art of Such N Such along with last years Yard Dog Road Show. As much as I enjoy both of those, I don't think it'll ever come close to the awesome feeling I get when I wander through the area with the giant fireflies and there is hardly anyone around.

Brooer's tent is a must visit. Some great microbrews from around the country, and a lot I can't get out west.
We watched the art of Such N Such's fire poi burlesque show last year. It was pretty cool, though I did wind up missing MuteMath b/c they went on late.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
Wait a minute FIRE POI I must know more I spin Fire poi and well seeing I didnt/couldn't go grrrrrrrrrrr! not to my doing!!!!!!!!!!!
I simply must know more folks!!!!!!! also did anyone "break out' poi thrpugh out the fest on the random chance they wouldn't get in trouble for a mid burn? (short)?? I mean I heard there were peeps that had fire works there -illegally
Ah Man Stomps feet and loks at new poi I just finished making yesterday!!!!!!!! ...bastards any pics? Sorry, Trip
becca My frustration with fire poi is as anything performance related an expression of how I am feeling or want to impress on the crowd. But that is just it Fire poi is considered ( and may arguably be) a hazard to festivaling enviroment.
Thats why I want to know more about its presence at the ROO!!!!!!!
I have been at the Bisc and done impromptu breaking out my poi and no one gives me Shite about it but then again I do it fully proped with extinguishers and wide open areas and for a brief WOW stint.

I love the Filmmakers In Focus series. Seeing Jim Jarmusch speak was a real treat last year.
Yeah, that was definitely awesome. I had my hand up forever before they finally called on me to ask Jim a question, but it was totally worth it. He's a real nice guy and it was cool to get my picture taken with him.
I love the comedy tent not just for the laughs, but also for the air conditioning.
The cell phone charging tent is a lifesaver and the video game tent is pretty awesome as well if you just wanna wake and bake and go play some games in the morning before everything gets started.
I didn't go inside the Silent Disco, but I did observe from a distance and I think I will definitely be going in this year.
I wasn't a big fan of the break dance crew last year, but to each their own and all that jazz. I also didn't get to catch the Yard Dogs show but I heard very good things from everyone who did go.
Most of the time you'll find me in the Brooer's Tent sampling all of the finest brews that the Roo has to offer.
I also liked the computer tent, although after the first day I don't think I went in there. I'm sure I'll be using the phone charge tent this year since I don't have a car charger anymore. And, I've never experienced the playgroud, so bring it back!!!!!!!

couild someone say more on the brewers tent and on the infaroo brunch
Yeah sure. I'll cover the Brooer's Village Tent. Basically it's a large tent which houses probably anywhere from 25-30 different beers ranging from ales to lager to porters to stouts and what have you. You can find brewer's like Flying Dog, Sweetwater, and many others there selling their wares. You have to get tickets from a table near the front of the tent (the price kind of escapes me right now) but I think six tickets buys you a full beer or you can spend two at a time on a decent sized sample of the beer.
