I thought about that kind of set-up. Although, it looks like your link is just to the rainfly - you would still have to buy the tented cot, which I'm sure is more expensive!
I think if you sleep in that without shade over it you will roast. Many people sleep under an ez-up out in the open because tents become ovens. Air ventilation is really important.

last year I had two cots and put an air mattress on top and slept outside. I will do that again, but I'm also bringing a folding hammock this time. Should be magicals
