If you purchase VIP tickets and a RV pass you could camp in the VIP area. Although even with the RV pass I do not think they would let you camp in the RV area just with a tent. Nor do i think you would want to.

It was all a misunderstanding. I just thought VIP RV camping allowed you to camp closer. My bad! This is my first year outside of the volunteer camp grounds.
