Hey guys. A while ago I found a convo in here of people talking about some great alternatives to Gold Bond, even some that were better. I can't find the convo now so I was wondering if any of you have suggestions.

Bodyglide is what I've heard most often recommended as an alternative (it comes in stick form, like deodorant). But, er, I don't remember if I've actually heard it endorsed by any of the menfolk, or just by the ladies. So hopefully one of the dudes can come along to confirm or deny whether or not Bodyglide will work for...manly situations.
I use body glide. I like to put it on my thighs then put baby powder over it, just because I like the way the powder feels better. The powder doesn't last, but the body glide does and it works. I also use it on my feet if I have a spot where my shoe rubs me.

I, and my group of friends all used Bodyglide last year and it didn't need applying as often as Gold Bond. It's also much less messy!! I've already purchased more for this year.
For chafing situations, silicone lube works really well. Stays on forever and can't be sweated off. ...Something you may already have in your nightstand that could serve double duty.

Gold Bond foot powder works better than regular Gold Bond for some reason. Blue bottle. It tingles/burns, so go easy on your boys. Haven't had chaffing issues at any Roo using the stuff, and I sweat like James Gandolfini jumping rope in the attic.
