First-time Rooer here, and from everything I've read, I think the thing I'm looking forward to the most is the atmosphere. It just seems like the perfect combination of laid-back and high energy. I'm also greatly looking forward to being in the pit for RodGab. =)

Balancing out your karma. I guess that was kind of it for me. First roo I trail blazed in. It was crazy coming into that on a Saturday night. Now I just expect the atmosphere though. Look forward to the things you don't expect. They will be abundant. Kind of nice knowing so many people that work for roo though. That gets you a very long way. Enjoy and Bonaaaarrrrroooooo.
I'm looking forward to so many things. Late nights, Live music, comedy, people watching, laughing, meeting new people, spending time with my fiance, a crab cake sandwich by the main stage, frozen lemonade, did I mention people watching......the list goes on. 6 days and I can't wait!

bringing my friend with me who hasn't been before, And thinks he knows what to expect. I think he believes this is just a mix of camping And the Tibetan freedom concert. boy is he in for a surprise. oh, and battles.

I must say I am rather excited to eat all kinds of corn and see radiohead then dance the night away to Black Star and FlyLo. Also, just making it one big adventure with no real plans

At this point I'm most looking forward to that moment where I have my campsite set up, I'm cracking my first beer, and looking head-on at 4 days of amazement and joy. The start of the party is always the most exciting.
So much to concider. Its like asking which of my kids I like best. haha (well not really the same)
I am looking forward to what I expect to take away. New friends. I am going solo this year but I am not leaving solo; I hope to leave with new friends to get to know better as the year goes along.
For some reason I love waking up at the butt crack of dawn, sun blazing so hard in my tent, I'm melting, I roll over and just sleep outside under the Tennessee sun. It just does something to my soul. Knowing it's giving me energy for the rest of the day.
