Judging from last years lineup, that might be a good idea.
lol. I'm actually considering not buying a ticket in the presale for that very reason. seems like a shame to not attend a festival an hour away from us, but if the lineup is weak that money is better spent towards JF or Roo.
then again it's a pretty safe bet you could sell your ticket for face. I think hangout will always sell out, even with a weaker lineup.

I've already got my my place to stay: I just booked a condo at the Island Sunrise, a short distance away. This is going to be me and my friends' big festie vacation this year. Can't wait.

This. I'm definitely buying during presale because I can always sell it for face if the lineup is a dud.
Just don't wait until the week of the fest or you might not be able to get what you paid for it. After we got hooked up with cheap VIP ticket last year from our condo, it took me over an hour of wading through seas of people and cars coming into town to find someone to by my GA bracelet for $100.
I don't know who I'm kidding. Even with the disappointing lineup this year, I had a f'n blast. And it's just too close to me to not go.

I'm going to miss early bird because of recent finance issues, and it doesn't look good for me getting tix at all. I'd like to go since it's only 45 minutes away, but I guess I'll wait for the lineup to see whether or not I should start panicking.
Where is your spot shaq? Also, have they jacked the rate on you? We've been all three years and stayed in different spots but upon looking, the rates are crazy boosted for the same spot we had last year. It could be that we don't have the hangout code yet and they gave us a repeat customer discount the second year.
So my buddy called the Hangout asking about Black Friday specials and he was told they are announcing something about it today. Someone post info on here if it is announced I can access Derpbook at work.
Blanknews-Everyone is boosting rent. It's gone up over 100% since 2011. It is what it is. It's in an ultimate location, I will just have more friends who can afford to throw in more stay.

Nice...I will be glued to derpbook all day. Def plan on grabbing some black friday tickets if possible.
My condo only went up $10/day from last year. An extra $40 for 4 nights is no biggie, but I did book over a month ago.
My condo keeps raising the price, but giving me extra days. I'm supposed to check in on Wednesday now.
Umm, are they making us take wednesday? Because if so, that is fucked. I'm working thursday morning. And depending on the headliner/lineup sunday, I might work monday afternoon. Regardless, I am not killing more than 2 and a half days of PTO for this fest.
Just heard that they are doing $50 tickets if you bring a toy for Toys for Tots. Don't have info on what time to be there or anything...........fuckkkkk yeaaaaasss
