Pretty good...still not sure if I will make the trip to Orange Beach for it. They had EOTO last year and we still stayed in Gulf Shores and partied on the beach all night instead.

I heard their afterparty was the place to be last year. I, however, am old and didn't want to leave Gulf Shores (and chance a DUI). We partied on the beach near the condo instead.
Anybody have room for an extra person in the hotel/condo room? Just bought a ticket, and looking at my options. I am going by myself, and can get a room as well...I was just thinking it would help me, as well as the other person, to split the cost.
Yea, him (Diver D.) and then there's some up-chuck named Kenny something on there who is always complaining. Someone called him a "habitual whiner" on there a week or two ago, and I laughed aloud. So is this sub-board dead?

Man this lineup is too good for me to miss. I have to make this happen somehow. Stevie is a big bucket list name for me, and since I wouldn't want to pay his ticket prices, this is my best bet. Plus Big G, KOL, Grizzly Bear, YYYs, Bassnectar, TAB, Bloc Party, Imagine Dragons, Passion Pit, Baauer, Jim James, Macklemore, The Roots...

The conflicts will be horrendous.
You're in good company. I believe the lineup to be very solid. About six or sevens times as good as last years. Conflicts will be tough for me as well, because I like nearly every band on the bottom half of the lineup. They always seem to do well with scheduling unless your an EDM fan. Worst conflict for me at Hangout ever was Flaming Lips/Motorhead/Rival Sons in 2010. I imagine that will be trumped this year.
Do you Bassnectar and Ellie Goulding have date conflictions?
Can't really tell yet. Both show the 17th - 19th as the Hangout date on their sites, but Ellie Goulding also has a show in Atlanta on Saturday, so she'll either play Friday or Sunday.

Gotcha. Just thought I'd be neat to see them do Lights together.

I was thinking about that actually...and it sounds a lot cooler in theory than I think it would be in execution. Bassnectar's remix is noticeably "sped up", meaning she'd have to sing like a crackhead on stage. There's also a lot of downtime in the vocal department as well, so she'd just be dancing around looking goofy at best.
Money wise does Hangout cost more, less, or about the same as Roo? Also how is um corn eating viewed, is everything as relaxed as Roo or is it more strict.

The cost for general admission is comparable to Bonnaroo with RV parking passes. The festival site has offers from local real estate brokers. Meyer has one for groups of 5 for $500 each that covers a three bedroom condo for 4 nights with festival ticket and shuttle pass included.
