I think nectar would be solid for the preparty, sell that out immedietly he has such a gigantic following.
Aoki, Bassnectar and ________ (legacy act) for the main headliners at the EDM tent I can see it
Not electric, but I think Kendrick Lamar is kind of a lock (no real logic in this thought- purely based on opinion)
Kendrick Lamar, Kid Cudi (hopefully his live show has gotten better since he's "sober") and Big Boi are three feasible hip-hop acts I'd certainly like to see on the beach this year
Kendrick Lamar and Kid Cudi are at Buku fest in nola just 2 months before hangout. So Big Boi is probably the most likely out of those three despite there being no evidence of him even touring this summer.

BUKU and the Hangout have a common relationship---HUKA. I know Shaul and Silvermann aren't stated as partners (at least from the billboard article), but I could see them throwing each other a bone in regards to spillover between the two fests.

Decent point on Buku, but I think that would be a bad move for Hangout to say no Buku artists, especially the undercard. Hangout is a lot of college students and 3/8-9 is right around spring break. LSU/Tulane kids might do Buku, but UF, FSU, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, MSU, Texas, A&M students won't be thinking about going to NOLA 3/8-9. Those kids either have SB, midterms or will be out of cash (SB).
On Big Boi I bring him up because he has a new album, from the South and could just do Outkast verses for an hour and make a nice amount of money. Kind of a Bonnaroo/Ludacris situation.
I'd love to see some BUKU crossover. I am completely in the dark regarding EDM but recognize some bigger names. Any crossover of Primus 3D, Best Coast, Kendrick Lamar, Japandroids, St. Lucia, Lettuce, STRFKR etc. would be amazing. And of course Unicorn Fukr (I have no clue what it sounds like but that's such an intriguing name).
In quickly scanning Hangout vs. Wanee past lineups, 2012 seems to have zero crossovers while 2011 has quite a few. Thus I deduce that I have no friggin' clue.

Haha that's how I feel about this whole lineup at this point. Duo de Twang would be sweet. Primus 3D is phenomenal but it wouldn't be as quality if it wasn't in the dark

Put it in the tent up against MumSons. It doesn't have to be complete darkness, btw. They have lights and other shit going on and the 3D experience still works.
Some funny Phantasy Tour Mumford hate: » DancinBare • Mon Feb 04, 2013 07:51 PM sometimes it sounds like irish dave matthews with a kick drum. wait, all of the time it does.

While I firmly believe PT is the cesspool of the Internet, it remains one of my favorite message boards to read.

Good to know! So...we're not getting a lineup tonight are we?
Small time EDM update: Minnesota and ProtoHype are touring and 5/18 is an open date, in between Tallahassee and Charlotte. There is a Birmingham date earlier in the month, but I think these two would probably jump at the chance to be at the Hangout EDM tent and get some new fans. So we might know two early Saturday acts.
For those curious, Minnesota has a nice remix of Dre/Snoop The Next Episode and ProtoHype has a remix of Three Six Mafia Stay Fly worth checking out.
