Hey guys i got a question for anyone who has ever gone to a comedy at roo.
How does it work when there are two comedians billed on a slot? For example, Aziz Ansari and Rory Scovel are billed together from 4:00-5:15. Do we find out when exactly each of them go on? And if you got tickets do you need to be in the theater by showtime?

Just like going to a comedy show at any club in the country, you don't go see one comedian. They will have one or two comedians come out and tell some jokes before the main act goes on. It's the same way at Roo.
You basically show up about an hour before the show to get a ticket. Once you have a ticket your in...you can go do something else for awhile or if you want better seats, you just go ahead and get in line for the show at either the left or right side of the tent. They start seating about 15 minutes before showtime. I'm pretty sure you have to be there by showtime to get in.

Yeah, because of the way it works a lot of people end up getting tickets and then never showing, so they do a sort of "stand by" area where they'll let people in at the last minute to fill empty seats. So if you don't show up by showtime, they'll fill the empties and there won't be a spot for you.
Aziz is a headliner, so he will be last. If you're trying to see him, he'll be going on towards the end of his time slot. They do not allow late entry. Good luck!

That first sentence is partially true. They usually hand out the tickets an hour before the show. But if it's fer a name as big as someone like Aziz, there will be people gettin' in line to get tickets over an hour ahead of time, so plan ahead!
When Conan was there we had to get in line hours in advance to get a ticket. For 99% of shows though, you just get in line about an hour before the show to get your ticket. It's not hard to get in at all. The tent looks pretty small, but it holds a LOT of people. There really isn't a bad seat in there either.
Like has been stated, they bill multiple comedians at the same time because they have an opening act or two before the headliner comes out.
