How good is the wireless internet at Bonnaroo? (I believe I read that Wireless can be accessed, yes?) Can it be accessed anywhere on the farm, including the campgrounds? Or just Centeroo?
FloatOn, trust me... you will not be working on anything for class once you step foot on the farm.
The 4 days of magic goes so fast! The second you leave, you are already counting down the days until it starts all over again next year.
Get your studies/work done before you go... also, leaving a laptop in your tent isn't an option, and having it locked in the sun baked sauna your car will be, could seriously damage it.
Haha, that's true. This isn't my first roodeo, but summer classes suck and my professor posts an online quiz every day. I'll check and see if I can get an extension or something, since I just learned that my vacation spot isn't going to have wifi
Was on the farm yesterday doing some volunteer work and I put my phone on WiFi to see if there was any internet. There was about 4 different bonnaroo signals, with one being "bonnaroo" that was open to anyone. I assume this will be available to use throughout this festival.

That's probably for workers and probably doesn't have the bandwidth to handle a festival, I'm guessing, so I wouldn't count on it. Last year I brought a wireless card and it worked OK.
You might also be able to snake a signal from a camp neighbor's smart phone.
^ I'm inclined to agree. They'll probably shutdown those SSIDs that were open. With all the smartphones and other gadgets that can eat up bandwidth, I imagine they'll reserve what pipe (broadband) they have for official use.
