This is the second year I've been asked to DJ Radio Bonnaroo before/during the festival and I'm super excited - not sure yet when I'll have shifts throughout the weekend, but I know I'll definitely be on the air on Wednesday late afternoon/evening as everyone's starting to drive in (we'll be on 101.5 FM)
So... what do you want to hear? I'll take live requests via twitter (outtheother), but I'm trying to prep as much beforehand.
Specific songs by artists performing this year, or Bonnaroo alumni? Other artists? New stuff? Old stuff? Epic live recordings? Just no cursing, por favor.

For my first year we listened to Radio Roo a lot during our eight hours in line and it helped keep us excited in those tired times. A guy with a thick, self described Mid-Ten accent came on to talk about the grounds being wet. The way he said "Bonnaroo" is how I pronounce it to this day. Great voice. Anyway, so glad y'all are spinning for us as we get into the fest.

Great requests - keep them coming!
I was only on the air Saturday and Sunday afternoon last year, but I think Justin held down the fort by himself on Wednesday night and did an awesome job.
We'll have regular weather updates as well. I *think* I might be on during the brunch, actually!

I'll be listening to you in line on Wednesday night. Black Star, The Roots, Alice Cooper, The Shins, SBTRKT are stuff I would like to hear Wednesday. Oh, and no Mac Miller, please.
Andrew Bird follows you. Sick. (I'm @woundedtweeter)
I'll be listening on my drive in and out every day, starting Wednesday. I am a fan of nearly every type of music, so I can't wait for Radio Roo every year. I assume that plenty of tribute will be paid to those who have passed away since last year's Roo...but I hope some Doc Watson makes its way across the airwaves at some point, for sure.
Otherwise....play some bands that have never played Bonnaroo before, and maybe point that out....

I just came to post something similar. I'd love to hear some tributes to the Bonnaroo alumni that we lost this year. Maybe some Levon Helm/The Band, Beastie Boys, Doc Watson. Did we lose anybody else?
Any covers of those artists/bands by current Roo artists would be pretty cool, too!

I'll be listening Wednesday night. One of the things I love about it... Bonnaroo Radio shares a frequency with the station I listen to back home. It's already a preset.
Flogging Molly- Seven Deadly Sins & Seven Drunken Nights The Avett Brothers- I and Love and You, Head full of doubt, Murder in the City Luda- ANYthing really..
and maybe some Live Mumford and Sons from last year(2010?)
