I have glaucoma and have two different eye drops that I have to use twice a day. When I talked to my pharmacist about how to store them while I'm at roo, he said to put the in a ziploc with a towel wrapped around it and put it on the top of the cooler. I'm worried about getting my cooler stolen or the bag getting a leak or something. My eyedrops cost me about $400 for the both of them so I REALLY don't want to lose them or have them get too hot and deactivate the chemicals. Is it possible to have them stored at a medical tent or does anyone else have any other suggestions? ???
But srsly, if you have a copy of the scrip bring it because the searchers have unusual interpretations of what meds are good-to-go and what are not. As far as keeping it cool you may be able to buy a small cooler that will fit in the lockers just for your meds. They're located down at Centeroo so it may be a pain as far as scheduling your meds go.
From Bonnaroo.com>info>Bonnaroo Info Access Guide:
MEDICAL CONSIDERATIONS Syringes: A person bringing a syringe will need to show medication in prescription packaging with name on the label, and photo ID.
Medication: Medication may be stored in the refrigerator in the Medical Tent in Centeroo. The tent opens at about 11 AM on Thursday and closes at 10 PM Sunday evening. Be sure to pick up your medication before the tent closes.
Hope this helps! I also have to bring meds that I have to keep cool, I usually keep them in a baggie within a baggie ( to prevent ANY leaks) and keep it in my cooler... I have not had any problem with this in the past.

ahh i have a similar problem... i use an otterbox (one similar to this: www.otterbox.com/OtterBox-1000-Clear/OTR3-1000S-01,default,pd.html?dwvar_OTR3-1000S-01_color=01&start=3&cgid=otterbox-1000-cases) inside my cooler on top of everything. works perfectly.

Thanks everyone! I will assess the situation when I get there and decide if it's best to take it to a medical tent. I guess there's always the alternative treatment for glaucoma if something goes wrong.
The bottles are so small that it doesn't have my name or anything on them so should I bring the box or the paper bag from the pharmacy? I normally just toss them out but I think I still have one somewhere.
Turtles are, actually quite sexy, if you think about it. I’m getting an erection just thinking about turtles. No, not a stripper named turtles, that’s not funny. Actual turtles.

We are planning to camp in tent only, so that won't really work. If we don't end up hauling all of our stuff to t.o. then I will keep that in mind. We are bringing a bike lock so maybe we'll lock it to the tent or something.
do quackers really steal coolers? WOW, that is downright LOW. I dont have any perscript meds but I do have some OTC allergy meds (allegraD) that I am bringing in. I will still have the pills in the blister packets as well as an unopened bottle of advil.
