So today I decided to do my last test run with putting up the tent. When I took it down I wasn't paying attention and the bungee snapped. Can I still put it together without the bungee or what should I do?

This happened to me a few years back. I just re-threaded the elastic through the pole with a wire close hanger and then tied it back to the other peice of eleastic.

Best idea here. Will need someone to help you though.
The name for that bungee is the shock cord, and you can buy a shock cord repair kit from REI for $6. If you want to do a good enough kind of repair you can use a bit of dental floss or other small cord to tie the broken cord back together (at least on my tent putting a knot in the elastic cord made it too thick to go through the pole). You can duct tape the sections of pole together, but it would be a pain in the ass to ever use the tent again. Something like masking tape might work but still be easy to remove.
