Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Still have my 2012 band on and just finally cut my Moog wristband off last weekend because the thing was so damn tight I woke up one night thinking I was going to have to cut my wrist off. I take my Coachella wristband off as soon as I leave there (probably because they are crap).

It's not the armband, which I'm sure is long gone, but I cannot believe I found this. We are getting ready to move so I'm opening old boxes and somehow, this is still with me...

I throw all of mine of the ticket board on my wall....don't know if this happens to anyone else...but mine always starts to itch to an incredible level - plus I have super dry skin so it doesn't help the cause
I'd leave it for a week or two tops but I can't stand it much longer
I'm a painter, so it's got some paint on it... But mine still has the plastic part and everything.
Impressive. And you kept the plastic chip on it for this long. (If your gonna wear it to Roo this year, cut off the plastic they can mess with eachother making your new one not scan.)I cut that plastic piece off asap and sadly had to take mine off a few weeks ago because of my new job. Good news my thumbs double jointed so with a lil soap it slips on and off my hand.
I really kind of surprised that some people think this is dirty. Everyone who keeps them on showers I'm sure. As far as work is concerned, I am the manager of a record store, it almost required that I look different. These things are like street cred for hippies, people who have been always recognize them and everyone else just thinks there braclets. It is great when someone realizes what they are and instantly want to tell me about their Bonnaroo.
Yaaa zero chance I can wear this where I work for any period of time Lol. Love the keychain idea but mine will inevitably go into my huge collection of past tickets/shows

There is no way my skin could tolerate wearing anything for that long, clean or not. You guys are certainly dedicated. I keep mine but they come off the minute I walk back in the door.
I usually wear my bands for a few month before taking them off. Except for the plastic wristbands in 2011, I took that sh*t off real quick. I now have 'em all sewn into my camelbak.

Yeah, but that is dirty. Water and shampoo don't sanitize, they wash oils off of your skin. All you're doing is soaking your wristband in hot water which is an oasis paradise for bacteria.
So unless you're washing your wristband with anti-bacterial soap every week it's chock-full-o' gross sh!t.

Its ok its good for the immune system.
Yeah, just give that wristband a good lickin' every couple of days and you'll be superman.

Somehow missed this thread before... so BUMP.
Because I do. I've had at least 1 on since Roo 08 (I didn't keep that plastic 07 one on for long). My Roo 10 fell off about a month ago, but I still have on Roo 12, Moogfest 11 & 12, Camp Bisco 10, Coachella 12, and Hangout 13. Soon enough I'll be adding my Roo 13!
It can be awkward since I teach, and they're on my left hand (I'm left-handed), but it's worth it. And luckily I teach college, so it's not like any of my students know what a music festival is anyway...
I kept my wristband on for a couple weeks afterwards in 2008; on the other end of the spectrum, in 2011 I ripped off that annoying plastic hunk of crap the instant I left Centeroo on Sunday.

it's a hard-knock life for us lefties, I tell ya! I once tried to sweet-talk the guy into putting it on my right hand for, ummm... porto purposes, but no such luck.
Also, I could've sworn that 2010 wristband said 'party on' at first glance. *sigh* I need a nap.
