You'll make it to Mike Snow. Since they are opening the gates at 7PM tonight, the traffic won't be bad at that time Thursday. I went to Roo at the same time last year, and drove straight to the gate. There was literally NO line. You'll be fine. Plus, Roo is an hour behind Chattanooga.
Im flying into Atlanta and will get to the airport around 11, and get in line for roo around 3 or 4PM. What do you think the lines will be like? Im super bumming that ill be getting on the farm so late. Any pep talk?
Last year I got to the gate around 230ish no line great campsite like 10min walk I think it was chewbacca or hans solo. It was my first year but I went with longtime rooers who knew where to go which was the makeshift exit right off the intersate.

can a mod sticky a thread explaining that its a crap shoot in that when/where you arrive has no affect on where you end up camping or how long you will wait in line?

Like some of us mentioned earlier, there are no guarantees, but if it's like last year, that should be a great time to arrive, as you might wind up with no line at all, because everyone else has been waiting all Wed night and Thursday morning to get in. I came from Atlanta last year and left at about the same time you're talking about and had absolutely no line when I got there. I just drove to the toll booths, got my car checked, and drove in.
