I could not agree more...the weather on Sunday pre-Phsh was outstanding and we should do whatever kind of weather dance is required to keep that coming.
was the weather. 82>86>86 Encore: Sat LN rain (Dust Cleanser)> Sun 75 bubble-mist
Can we download this and put it on repeat??
The weather made this year 100 times better. The cloud cover and breeze blowing at the Beach Boys and the light rain at Phish were perfect. The weather helped make this my best Bonnaroo Sunday of all time.

I forgot my blanket and pillow and the cold kicked my ASS on thursday night. It was crazy being able to see your breathe that night and see the low fog all around the camp ground.
Also, the rain completely flooded our tent after skrillex and gza. My two friends were sleeping in puddles and everything we had got wet.

So yeah, I'm pretty sick and miserable atm.
Some people would say that's what you get for going to Skrillex, but I'm sorry to hear that!
Right before it got dark at the Phish set and the storms clouds were swirling around the what stage and the rain/main mist was distorting the lights..... Yeah epic

Some people would be pretty petty then lol. Its just music.

That's a tough draw. I forgot my pillow in 2011 and had to make due with clothing and a tiny nylon pillow from a folding chair. I have a sore throat this morning, probably from the dust, not as bad as last year (smoker, cough, cough).
As far as the tent, if you had puddles in it from that rain, either it needs to be sealed, it wasn't closed up, or it wasn't set up correctly.

Agree, weather makes all the difference. Imo, this is still why they should look into an earlier date, if only it is a week or two. A few degrees can be the difference between heaven and hell.
I was absolutely FREEZING! i wore pants every day, and a jacket starting around 6pm every night, except for sunday, definitely rocked a rain poncho, jacket, and jeans! Then again im from florida, and anything below 80 is jacket and jeans weather.

We slept til 9:30 almost every day slept til after 11 yesterday but that's because our piece of shit shelter collapsed and we slept in our van. I didn't even fall asleep til after the sun started to rise.
The best part of this? All the first-time attendees who are going to walk away thinking that Tennessee in early June is this wonderous fantasy land of perfect temperatures and friendly breezes, only to return next year and get coldly throat-punched by mother nature in the form of 94 degrees with 80% humidity yet no rain and thus killer, lung-infecting dust clouds everywhere. Nature is a hideous biznatch goddess.
I was having a conversation with someone in my group about this on Saturday. So many dumb first timers are going to definitely spread a new popular opinion that the whole emphasis on how hot it is and how much you need to hydrate is super exaggerated. I think that will lead to us seeing a lot more first timers passing out next year, of which I barely saw this year.

Our camp got flooded Saturday night too. I had been sleeping in our canopy on a hammock and decided to pack up my shit and sleep in the car after we got back from Skrillex. That was an awesome decision because the tent my friends slept in got wet around the edges even with the rain fly and all the stuff we left in the canopy overnight was soaked (2 blankets and a bunch of garbage, so nothing important).
Wednesday night was SO cold—I pulled my sleeping bag all the way over my head and only left a tiny space to breathe fresh air during the night. Other than those two nights I was in love with the weather.
The weather was great. But the dust did lead to me getting an Upper Respiratory Infection and had to leave in the middle of Bon Iver because I could hardly breath.
But sleeping in till about 10 every morning was great! And camping in the back of an SUV was awesome, especially come Saturday morning after GZA, having a dry and warm bed was great. Best Bonnaroo ever thanks to Radiohead, Superjam, and amazing weather.

I agree. But I actually saw about 10 people faint this year.
But it does beat sweating ALL day... I don't know I did "lose" my hoodie on the first day so I'm a little miffed about being cold all weekend. But seriously reminded me that every roo is different.
