I usually wait until about 5 days before to get a ticket. And then have a minor freak out when it doesn't arrive until about 12 hours before we leave. It's become a tradition.
when do they usually announce tent city? I'm either going for that or VIP. Suggestions?
Not sure exactly what you are referring to, but I'm guessing you mean Tent Only Camping? which does not a require a special ticket. You need a regular GA ticket, and then TO is first come first serve when you get there

I've done the tents only the last two years. Last year with camp inforoo. But being from northern Canada, and having limited supply's to bring on a flight, I'm looking for something to make life easier, and better ways of fighting the heat incase we get another Roo like 2011. Pasty Canadians don't do well in 100 degree heat.
Really want to pull the trigger on pre-sale tickets this year, but I don't think I can ever buy a fest ticket without seeing the lineup. Even though there is a 99.9% chance I'll be at Roo no matter what.
