Scored four VIPS and a VIP RV ticket today. We are bringing a vintage tour bus with a roof platform, and I suspect we will watch the What Stage from the beer-soaked comfort of our roof.

It's tough to see from there, even from the roof, but you can hear it perfectly.
Got mine! Might be my first year going alone though. :/
You'll certainly be adopted, if you want to be and remember, no one is ever alone at Bonnaroo
Truer words could not be spoken. I had some trepidation about going by my self this year. Bonnaroo is a serious undertaking. I was alone long enough to sit on the back of my car and crack open a beer before I was "randomly" approached by a lurker on this board. We wound up hanging out and camping in TO the whole weekend along with a few others we met along the way. We all met as strangers and left as good friends.

Damn right. Get tents set up, crack beers, and start mingling! I've always met up with people, but inviting someone walking by to have a beer with you is a great way to meet people, especially if it's a regional beer they might not be familiar with. Also, be prepared: I always keep a rubber mallet, flashlight, and multitool handy, and I can't begin to tell you how many times those three items helped save someone's Roo.
