I just wanted to take a moment to thank the forum for their help in preparing me for this past weekend, which was my first Bonnaroo.
After going to Orlando Calling last fall, I wanted to go to a bigger US festival, and Bonnaroo was the one that I found the most appealing. In doing research I came across this forum, and the information I've accrued since December has been invaluable.
From advice about travel, camping supplies, manuevering from stage to stage, and countless other topics, I cannot express enough the thanks I have for all of you.
This past weekend was one of the most fun moments of my life, and I kept thinking to myself "this wouldn't be as smooth if not for what I read on inforoo".
I waited less than an hour in traffic to get into the gates, I had a camping spot 10 minutes away from Centeroo, I was able to get into the pit for every band I tried for (including Radiohead, Foster the People, The Beach Boys, and the Avett Brothers), I burned my mouth on a Spicy Pie, and I had everything at my campsite that I needed.
Some of this was luck, but without your help I would have been lost.
So again, thank you all. I hope you had as great of a time as I did, and I hope to get a chance to go again next year.
