First year at Bonnaroo. Went to MiMosa, where I bravely and eagerly left my friends to find a dancing partner. Right in front of the sound engineer booth, there was a boy sitting on the railing. I shimmied over there to find that he was much more attractive up-close, to my surprise. And I danced in front of him. Before long, his hands were on my hips and I was a happy camper (pun intended).
His name was Ian Boyd - 18 - going to University of Georgia or Georgia State University next year... in Atlanta. With that information, you would think I would be able to find him on Facebook. Wrong.
He was wearing a basketball jersey and gave me a pair of Spider Man light up glasses. He had brown curly hair, was about 5'9". At the end of the show, his friends and mine were tired. He said to "find his campsite," which was in the RV parking (VIP I assume?) ........ And well, I was unsuccessful. Never found it. Never saw him again. Played Where's Waldo for the next few nights.
I've just been thinking about it so much. Don't know what else to do.
