Sorry I am late to the party...been dealing with doctors and such about my leg...
A couple of notes: One, I am sorry Charming that you basically got hosed. I gotta wonder if it was a situation where had she been a guy if you had asked for the money upfront? I know it seems "sexist" and such, but a LOT of guys are naive when it comes to women (Keep reading). I too was trusting of someone up here once (I knew her a lot better or so i thought i did). Talked and emailed/texted/chatted a ton before Roo. Hell we even planned on going to Mike D's Pool Party together! Needless to say, we hung out at Roo and basically I was hosed as well. Loaned money (among other things) and never got it back. Live and learn right? Your situation seems more of a friend situation so I again ask: had she been a guy would you have asked for money first? That DOES NOT MEAN what she did was right....
Does anyone know if this girl (Cracklilly is what i have decided to call her) actually made it home? Obviously she is a horribly dishonest person and I wonder if she's just on the run for good now...Seems super shady and just another example of one person who brings others down. I met her at the Brunch. Asked her what her Username/Id was and she said nothing and just set there. I just assumed she did not hear me and she got a Pondo Army membership card anyways (Her membership has since been REVOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
The person I feel the most sorry for is her dog. Seems like a nice pooch who has to feel like sh!t knowing her owner is a PUNTA!!!

Hahah. This went from kinda crazy to really nucking futs. I can not believe this really happened, let alone she's a hooker. And on top of that, there are websites that review prostitutes? Man, my day just got so much more interesting.
um... I just find it hilariously she is fo' real an "escort". From her reviews she only escorts the men into her bedroom. hehe. I'm totally more expensive in that I want dinner first, damn it! ;-)
Man this sucks to hear. I chatted with her a good bit on FB before Roo. I thought she was hilarious and would be fun to hangout with. Had hoped to meet up but lost my phone on Thursday. I just looked and noticed it seems she has blocked me on FB. Someone else who also chatted with her said she did the same to him. Weird. Like someone else said on here, she told me her next festival is Firefly so might wanna put the word out on that one.

Pondo...no...I wouldn't have done anything different if it was a dude...I didn't have any intentions of any hanky panky with her...I truly considered her a new (potentially GOOD) friend...It sucks...but...(expensive) lesson learned...It actually has put me into the mindset of maybe just doing festivals by myself...which I have done in the past...no worries about anyone else...no one to babysit other than masself...we'll see. I'm always in the lead in putting sizeable groups together for parties...sooooooooo much easier to just do it solo. As I've said before....I make new friends REEEEEEEEEAL EASY... : )

I think the term for Shonda is "hustler". This is someone who will get your money from you by any means necessary.
Sorry this happened to the OP. You sound like a really kind person who didn't deserve this. Don't stop doing good things because of this, otherwise evil wins.

Wonder if she's getting as much mileage from her 'Roo stories with her girlfriends in Philly as we are? Might be a whole hen-house of 'em asking for rides next year.
wow , i had seen her writing on here and never would believe something like this would happen. i have never had a problem with anyone i have ever met thru bonnaroo or inforoo thank trey. that sucks dude. my 7th roo had great camp again. even call all my neighbors from years past every year,met and hooked up with one of them this year.
