There are two "tab-like-things" on each side of the clasp. Pop them with a screwdriver or small knife and the clasp will open. There will be a barb holding the fabric in place inside. You can either pull somewhat hard and it will tear a teeny bit or you can try to take nail clippers/wire cutters and take the head of the barb off. After that you can leave the clasp on or cut the loop that holds it on.
One end of mine just slid out of the clasp while I slept Thursday night. Woke up with it lying next to me on my pillow. Just tied it back on. A neighbor had the exact same thing happen to him.
I don't want to cut mine that would ruin the souvenir aspect of it. How do you loosen it to take it off?
Take a flathead screw driver, slide it in the opening on the wristband and then once it's in there pretty good just turn it. Do this 2 or 3 times and the black clip should pop open and you won't have to cut it.

Are you not able to get it wet to stretch it a bit then try to slip it off. Might take some time, but I was able to get mine off. (that sounded really dirty lol)
i took one of my tent stakes held it on the plastic part and hit it with the hammer. I don't know why but the second I get off the farm I have to get it off. It worked despite risk of crucifying myself to the floor
This was the first band I could slide off, but the plastic clasp is also breakable if you squeeze it in a vise or something similar. I was planning on doing this and keeping just the cloth, but now I gots it all!!
And a small flathead screwdriver can back out those clips, then take a pair of dykes (diagonal cutting pliers) found in most tool sets and clip the metal barb.

I slipped mine off, did it in shower. It tooke some rolling and dislocating of thumbs and wrist, but it is possible to do. Or you could do it Saw style...
I took a little screwdriver and popped the clip open one side at a time, it was quite easy and it looks like I could actually reuse it for special occasions. It doesn't look like anything was damaged in the process.
My wristband is so loose but I want to keep it on. If I pop the clasp off, will I be able to re-clasp it? Or will I have to like, sew it onto myself?
You won't be able to reclasp it. If you want to keep it on, leave it be. If you want to keep them like myself, it's best to take them off early to avoid the fabric wearing and tearing
Yeah that's what I figured. I'm keeping it how it is for now, but I think I might take the clasp off and just sew it on if the bagginess starts to annoy me. I'm not worried about wear and tear since I've been wearing my 2010 bracelet this whole time and it still looks pretty good.
Mine was really tight and the dangling cloth was a bit of a hazard for me since I work in a kitchen. I pried mine open with a pocket knife then trimmed the barb with wire cutters. Put it back on and now I can adjust it and tuck the excess in the RFID so it doesn't go up in flames when I work grill.
