The golf cart taxis are $5 per ride/per person. The $50 number gets thrown around because that's how much you could potentially spend on them if you used them the whole weekend.
We got a ride from center to our campsite and back to center for 5$ each. We had to get back quick, grab just a couple things (mostly alcohol and glow sticks lol) and get back without missing too much music. I tipped the guy 5$ and it was 15$ well spent. The only time in 2 years Ive used it
