Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I'm really bothered by the prominence of "The Shady Side of Roo" as a thread on this forum. Of course bad things happen over the course of 4 days with 80,000-100,000 people camping on a farm. But so many good things happen at Bonnaroo as well!
Please post any positive stories from this past year! Hopefully Bonnaroo is more Righteous than shady
The only problem with the thread is that 99% of Bonnaroo is righteous - you guys would get bored if I posted every good thing that happens to me at Bonnaroo.

Thanks to all the people that helped me carry my stuff to tent only bonnajail when I was struggling hardcore to keep all my un-bungie'd camping gear on my rickety dolly. A few strangers helped and then some inforoosters (shout out to bisontrax and fluttershy711) took me in at their camp. Had an awesome weekend with them!
And thank you, weather... for not doing to us then what it's doing to me right now.

There is a reason so many of us have been to the farm more than once. Bonnaroo is QUACKING AWESOME. This year was especially so for me.
1. The lineup was stellar and I watched 5 shows from end to end. A new record for me! 2. The sound was great at every tent/stage. 3. The crowd was relaxed and having a great time. 4. Security getting onto the farm AND getting into the venue were professional. Not S.O.B.s strung out on authority and power 5. The camping areas were larger per vehicle. In turn neighbors were neighborly. 6. Shakedown was hard to find but boy howdy, you walked away happy if you found it. 7. The whole infrastructure seemed near flawless. Clean portos. The RFID chips worked. Music started on time.
and personally: I had no blisters. I found my friends. I met new friends. I now love Radiohead. Couldn't get into them before. Now, that's changed.
On Monday, our RV got stuck in the mud and muck. The wheels could spin but we weren't moving an inch. We tried AAA, but they aren't allowed onto the grounds apparently. After a lot of cursing and hand wringing, we finally spotted someone helping similarly stuck fest goers with a big ol' farm tractor. We flagged him down and asked how much to pull us out, he said he was just working for tips. Guy was a champ, he had to crawl through about 1 1/2 feet of water to hook us up to the tractor. We managed to scrounge together 20 bucks to give him.
10 minutes later, we are driving away from the farm and spot two hitchhikers. Their car has broken down and they need a lift to Chattanooga, in which direction we are heading. They offer us... 20 bucks!

While setting up camp Thursday morning, my sleeping bag went missing. Thursday night was pretty cold for Roo standards, but it takes a lot at this point to dampen my spirits on the farm (the mud fields of Bonnaroo 2004 completely redefined what it means for me to be uncomfortable). The next morning my missing sleeping bag was nicely folded next to my car. Karma to whoever accidentally grabbed it, realized their mistake, and put it back where they found it!

The same tractor guy came right as our RV got stuck, towed us out to the road. It was perfect timing. Your story with the hitchhikers is perfect karma.

We were all first timers, and our neighbors were "every-timers" for Roo. Thanks Cory and GF for taking us in and being our Roo parents/chaperones. I'll never look the same way at a saltine cracker....
First time posting, been lurking for a while This was my first Bonnaroo, and absolutely loved it. From the music to the great neighbors to just everything! But truly one thing that will stand out in my mind is the fact that on Friday I lost my phone @ Flying Lotus Went to lost & found Saturday afternoon & nothing!! I had no one to blame but myself!! My friend though who has been to bonnaroo said, "If there was ever a place to lose your phone among 80,000 people this would be the place that someone would return it" Sure enough I checked Sunday and golly gee willikers there it was!! Just a testament to all the awesome people that make bonnaroo.... well BONNAROO!
You're just too young to grasp how stylin' I really was. All the boys wanted to do me when I was 5. Actually the girls did too. My haircut was confusing.

Drove straight in exit 112 at 8am, no wait at all, then got the best camping spot I've had in 6 roo's, brought 5 roo-noobs who have already started making lists for next year. Y'know what's righteous? Enthusiasm...

Thanks Bonnaroo!
Danzig didn't start on time but that was his own fault. And I had blisters on the bottom of each pinky toe. So worth it, though.

I'd like to thank Inforoo for aiding in my preparations. And Anna Leigh for contacting me on Facebook and helping in any way she possibly could. I've finally found someplace I truly belong <3
