A real solid fest year after year. Happens downtown right next to campus. Worth a ticket if your are close Also if BBQ contests are your thing this is the place to be.
I go to Mizzou, right in the heart of the festival/downtown area, and this is definitely one festival that continues to get better with each passing year! This year they've got Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Al Green added to an already impressive lineup.
The downtown area has a really unique vibe and a thriving music scene. Definitely worth a trip to the festival in Columbia, Mo if your're looking for good times and great live music !

I will also be there! This makes four festivals for me this year. Mostly excited for Avett Brothers, Houndmouth (even though I'm nervous about how they'll sound without Katie Toupin), and Blues Traveler. And barbecue, of course.
Also if BBQ contests are your thing this is the place to be.
