Yoderfest 2012 is official!! All we can say at the moment is that it will take place in Nov. in Raleigh, NC. But, we have some huge news coming down the pipeline that we'll probably be able to release before Moogfest gets their act together!
This music festival for those unaware is to honor our friend Chris Yoder or as those in the inforoo community knew him YODEROO! Chris passed away at Bonnaroo '11 and we have already grown in support a tremendous amount since we started the event last year.
We hope all in the inforoo community can make their way to Raleigh in November where we will be working together to raise money to build yet another house for a needy family in Mexico in Chris' name.
Please get at me if anyone is willing to help out and I'll let you know how exactly we raise the funds at the event and what not.

Time goes by too quickly...sorry I've neglected this, but FINAL details:
WHEN: Sunday, Nov. 11th
WHERE: Downtown Raleigh
1st Session = Deep South the Bar (Dawson St.) starts up at 2pm ---Beside the Fire, Supatight, Nectar Unit & special guests Pseudo Blue ADMISSION TO 1st session is FREE!
2nd Session = Lincoln Theater (Cabarrus St.) starts up at 8pm ---DJ Rou-Dee, Crizzly, BIG GIGANTIC. Buy tickets online
MEET BIG GIGANTIC - There is a silent auction up until next Saturday where if you email Yoderfest.Raleigh@gmail.com with your bid (current top bid is $115) and you have the highest bid (we will notify you if you do!) then you will be put on BG's guest list for that night. This means you can enter as early as 5:00pm, see the stage set-up, soundcheck, and meet the guys.
YOU CAN WIN STUFF WHILE YOU'RE THERE!
For $5 you spin a wheel and it will land either on coupons, glowsticks, t-shirts, inflatable saxophones, or a coozie.
Also raffle tickets will be sold for $20 and we have at the moment: hoodies, future concert tickets (MiMosa @ Lincoln Theater; Emancipator @ Orange Peel, etc.), CA$H, gift cards, and other items not obtained that remain a mystery.
So tons of good times to be had and our group has worked very hard on making this a success. If you have not already please buy your tickets and remember:
+ALL proceeds this year are going to the Fender Music Foundation to fund music education in public schools.
+We are celebrating the life of our good friend Chris Yoder aka Yoderoo!
