Wasn't able to get a free ticket, was about 10 mins late.
Going try tomorrow I guess. If I don't succeed tomorrow I will probably just buy the $50 dollar ticket, for a good cause plus you get a free shirt and cup.

I can not wait. I missed the Alabama Shakes at Roo in order to see Big Gigantic plus Portugal the Man and Nas oh my...I just hope I dont have the heart ache of a scheduling conflict.

Lol theres a guy on twitter that locked down 32 tickets today and selling them for $50 each. I don't understand why anybody would buy off him when you can pay the same amount (plus a convenience charge) and get a free t-shirt, free mug that will get you free drinks, and early admission.
Me and my buddy both are going to try and get at least 2 free tickets tomorrow (would love for us to both get lucky so we would have four) but I am not counting on it. Any tips beside to be ready at noon, have an account made, and pray?

According to the website it say only 2 tickets can be ordered per person/shipping address/credit card anything more than two will be canceled.

Pretty much, yeah. I literally refreshed the page as soon as my comp said 12. It was pretty insane because my coworker typed in the promo code wrong once, even though he logged in at the exact same time as me...and he didn't get them.

I got to doing something and saw it was 12:07, rushed to twitter to get the link and code. Then I had the hardest time getting the security code thing typed in (the thing that makes sure your not a robot.) I couldn't read the letters, took like 6 tries. By that time it was 12:10 and too late.
I am going to be sitting on my computer tomorrow by 11:45 just waiting for the clock to hit noon. Should I just updated virgin mobile twitter page every minute or ticketfly?
If me nor my friend can score two tickets then were just going to get freemium tickets. Good value plus its for a good cause.

I scored two today! I'm never lucky so this is interesting.
My friend didn't though and we have 2 other folks meeting us there- everyone is trying again tomorrow! He was even trying the donation tickets and couldn't get through today.
Got 2 tickets! Right at noon, tried again to get 2 tickets for friends with the donation option at 12:03 and they were all gone! MPP capacity was even increased this year to 60k and they still went quickly. I know they had 10k of the "freemium" tickets at $50 each which is pretty much what you'd pay for a Jack White headlining show anyway.

I got in today using the same link from the presale yesterday right at noon. If your luck was different than my own 50 bucks to see a decent line up which goes to charity isn't too bad. Hope to see you all in October...

If I remember correctly they bump it up for FreeFest, I don't know about 60k though.
I read 30, last year.
