Also, how does pavilion seating work? First come first serve? I'd really like to get in, get a decent seat and just hang till JWIII (and enjoy ZZTop along the way). Is that even possible or is that where the fancy rich people who "pay" for tickets sit?
I'm on the fence right now. I don't enjoy Skrillex or Jack White, but M83/Nas/Ben Folds Five is pulling me. It's a pretty decent drive for one day, as well.

First come first serve. It was pretty chill. I remember being up really close in the seats for some of the earlier acts, but I couldn't even see the Black Keys from the upper lawn. Your plan sounds like a good one, if that's what you want to do!

First come - we planned on lawn last year but there were good seats in the pavilion last year and we stayed there for Okkervil, Patti Smith, and TVotR. We left them to go to the dance forest and when we came back later there were still seats there.
i saw zztop in HS with (what is left of) lynyrd skynyrd.
zztop was awesome, their stage setup was bare except for two little moving sidewalks. they would play their guitar and walk on those things. they looked so badass while doing that. haha
Addendum - we were going to hang out at the other stage but the overwhelming stench of horse manure drove us back to the pavilion stage.
Also, I suspect Jack White will be in the Black Keys closer role this year. If you're not ensconced early for that it's a mob scene in the pavilion and front of the lawn.
Lineup is good, not like the last couple years though. Jack White, Nas, ZZ Top, and M83 are my major draws. If I can see Santigold with a full band that is a bonus. I passed up on her at roo this year. May sneak to see some of BF5 if the opportunity presents itself. Anyone see Dismemberment Plan live? curious about them.
Ive noticed in more than a few articles they have said "more to be added" to the dance forest.

ha...I wouldn't expect anyone that big. The space is tiny that they use for the dance forest. They would have to move Skrillix to the dance forest if Daft Punk played.
