Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
The $50 tickets are the "VIP" ones, Gib. T shirt and a plastic cup (for discounted beer). No seating upgrades, that I remember.
Gotcha, thanks Gland. Plus it goes for a good cause.
^ I'm glad "Mr. Fancy" & his VIP needs will be accommodated. It would be a travesty for him to slum it w/all the lowly festival-goers. Oh, the horrors! The man has standards & a reputation to uphold; he can't be seen cavorting with the commoners!
(thanks for being a good sport, G... the new nickname calls for a bit of hazing!

Not so sure I am accommodated...there is not much that paying for a ticket really gets me. Besides knowing you contributed to a good cause...<------blah blah blah. If slum it up with the commoners I must, then slum it up with the commoners I will. ;-)

Interesting. A local venue (Richmond, VA) just announced a Sleigh Bells show on Oct 7th, the day after VFF. Last year, Okkervil River was announced the same way.
Could Sleigh Bells be one of the additions for the Dance Forest? I'm not finding new dates anywhere to debunk them.
Sorry for being such a noob. Roo 2011 was my first festival. I thought I was hooked then, but Roo 2012 confirmed it. I'm finally going to branch out. (Although I'm admittedly concerned about going to other festivals, since I know nothing will compare to Roo).
You can't really compare other festivals to Bonnaroo just because it is it's own beast. I have been to Free fest twice and I have enjoyed the experience thus far.
