We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
I wonder where a new Divine Fits albums would fit in Britt's schedule? I know Spoon are/were recording and writing earlier this year.
I saw an interview in the fall where he said recording with Spoon was going to happen, but never anything about it actually happening. My bet is that it didn't.

They definitely did in some capacity in February. Their instagram has pictures up of them "doing preliminary work on the next album" (quote from their site).

I had heard people talking about Divine Fits, but I had no idea it was a supergroup. Dan Boeckner is one of my favorite musicians, and the dude from Spoon is killer. I was so pumped when I found this out just now. Then I saw the conflicts they had..
Both The National and David Byrne & St. Vincent are coming to my town this summer. Really debating skipping both to see Divine Fits.
