i'm having a slumber party with randy wednesday night in ATL, having a roadtrip with mayo and airline, making noage and/or bonz be my little spoon, dancing to some rad music, cutting some fools with my girl gang and getting day drunk on cider with all you fine peeps.
we will all be a panda posse and everyone at moog will wonder who we are AND WHY WE ARE SO FREAKING AWESOME.

Im buying stuff for the panda hood today - in about 30 min! Lunchtime trip to my fabric store. I really want to go to the crack store.... but they don't have as much fabric as the Joann...
There are some joyous Panda hats out there. EAP found one at Target.com too. If I can make it for less than $15, it'll be worth my time. The one I'm using as "inspiration" is on etsy... made by the same girl in the UK who makes the carebear onesie that I covet. siiiiiigh, i love costuming.

mayo's hoodie should be kick ass, but i want a furry hat so bad and since moog is cold, it is happening. i would never have a chance to wear something like this in texas, as it only gets below 40 where i live like 3 times a year. hahaha

I got the black and white fur for the panda hood! And I got white fleece to line it so it'll be niiiiiice and snuggly. If the first one is good, then I should have enough fabric for a couple more. I know CKS is interested in it if it turns out - Bonz, you wanna lay claim to the third one??? It'll be a CraftMayo original.
Tonight Im meeting up with some ladies for cocktails, but afterwards, I may get on the chat and start cuttin' up fabric, yo. I know you people like to watch me craft.

Mayo if you end up having enough time I want any and all of your creations. I was blow away by your creativity with the Tutus and I'd love to get my hands on anythign else you make.

THanks Abra!!! That is an amazing compliment I am thinking that this panda hood is gonna be preeeeety amazeballs. If I can just get the placement of the ears right. Tonight Im heading to Zen's husbands wake ( ) and then after im gonna head home and see about getting the ears/eyes/nose sewn onto the hood. Then a couple special "details" into the lining. If I can get that done, getting the lining onto the hood itself is super easy, and VOILA - I may have a finished hood. I also figured out that the material I bought will be enough for like SIX (or more!) hoods. not just 3 as originally thought. So you're in lady. You. Are. In. Consider yourself hooded-by-Mayo. ;D
While Im typing - Lets talk MOOG-Tus. Im making solid black ones with white panda tails for anyone in the Panda Posse who wants one. If anyone wants a different Moog-Tu (i.e. Non-Panda), let me know. I was thinking that the "main" Panda dress up day could be Friday? Everyone down with that?
Sidebar - Holls - Im not trying to derail the thread! But costuming is a big deal, you know?! Im a details girl - everyone must be perfectly panda'd if Im involved with the Posse. No half-ass costuming with this ex-ballerina.
